WNWhL Youth Forum

Joining the Youth Forum can give young people the chance to learn new skills, build confidence and make a difference to where they live. This is an opportunity for young people to use their voice in creative ways to support their community and bring about change.

 

In July the Forum asked ‘What is the Choice Based Lettings system?’.  So we explained about the system to the Forum which then raised other questions such as ‘Who can register?’ and ‘How much does a property cost to rent?’.  

 

Following this a member of the Forum told us:  “Being on the Youth Forum you get a chance to have a say and be heard by the people who make the decisions. We look at issues around, Housing, Applications, first time tenancy and support!”

 

The Youth Forum meets every two months, venues and agendas are decided by the young people. If your aged 16 -24 and would like more information please contact:
